Our Story Ruby Tuesday began more than 35 years ago, when Sandy Beall, our founder and CEO, opened the first restaurant near a college campus in Tennessee. The food was fresh and made to order, the most popular menu choice was a burger prepared with premium beef and served with lots of different toppings and piping-hot fries, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and guests couldn’t help but say “wow!” It was a place where the servers knew their stuff and came to know their guests as regulars. From that first restaurant, the company has grown to more than 900 locations across the United States and around the world and is one of the most beloved brands in casual dining. Our Promise You’ll find that same commitment to quality, freshness, and gracious hospitality at today’s Ruby Tuesday: guaranteed-great handcrafted burgers, dozens of menu choices made from the highest-quality ingredients, friendly, caring people who make you feel welcome, and an atmosphere that’s still a “wow.” From our famous Fresh Garden Bar to fabulous seafood selections, from fresh, never-frozen choice steaks to value-priced combos, and from made-to-order beverages to shareable desserts, there’s a favorite for everybody at everybody’s favorite Ruby’s. Going Green At Ruby Tuesday, we’ve taken steps both at our restaurants and at our corporate office in Maryville, Tennessee to reduce our environmental footprint. From scaling back our energy consumption and water usage to updating our buildings to be more efficient, we are contributing to the global effort to improve our planet.
