Recyclebank’s Alexa du Pont Bell to Moderate Discussion on the Future of Recommendation Engines at OMMA Behavioral Conference

NEW YORK CITY—MONDAY, MARCH 21, 2011Recyclebank®, the sustainable action platform that rewards people for taking everyday green actions, today announced that Vice President of Strategic Development Alexa du Pont Bell will moderate a panel discussion on recommendation engines and the power of suggestion, tomorrow, March 22, at the OMMA Behavioral conference in New York City.  The conference, which takes place annually with renditions on the East and West Coasts, convenes the leading minds in digital advertising to examine the latest developments and best practices in behavioral targeting, a marketing practice that aims to marry the right ad to the right person based on personal preferences gleamed through their online actions and behavior.


In the session “Recommendation Nation: Advancing the Art of Digital Suggestion,” du Pont Bell will lead a conversation on online recommendation engines, which were originally popularized by the likes of Amazon and Netflix, and their future. Panelists will discuss how advertisers of all sizes can benefit from recommendation engines as a way to increase revenue per user and cultivate deeper relationships with their customers. They will also share their observations on how these tools are evolving, and their predictions for what marketers can expect from them in the future.
