Get rewarded for recycling

On the one-year anniversary of Recyclebank coming to Fort Worth, 300 bonus points are being offered to those who haven’t yet signed up.

Over the past year, nearly 30,000 residents have signed up for Recyclebank, a program that helps Fort Worth divert recycling materials from the landfill and into the recycling stream — and these residents are being rewarded for taking green actions.

The more residents recycle by using their blue cart, the more reward points they earn to be redeemed for discounts and rewards at local and national businesses. Residents can earn awards from national brands like Ziplock, Staples, Coca Cola and Papa Murphy’s.

If you haven’t signed up yet, give Recyclebank a try.
