Recyclebank Gives You Rewards For Your Rubbish

You like scoring deals, right? Well, it's no surprise that a lot of people do. Daily deal sites have become the hottest trend on the web. Recyclebank offers deals and gift certificates, too, but with a twist--the more you recycle the more you receive. Getting a reward for being good makes it so much more fun.

The concept is pretty simple: earn points for recycling, taking pledges to be green and sharing with friends. Of course you do those things anyway, right?

If you live in one of the supported communities for the Recyclebank Home Recycling program, the amount of points you earn depends on the weight of your recycled materials. Your recycling bin will be weighed at pickup and then the number on the scale determines the number of points headed your way. Find out if you live in a participating community by registering at Recyclebank.

Of course, not every community is supported for at-home weighing... yet. But there are other ways to reward yourself and the environment. Earn points by recycling your trash from participating retailers. They'll have a secret code inside for claiming your prize–-fun!

If you like to share, you'll be rewarded as well. For every friend who joins Recyclebank because of you, you'll get 10 points. It pays to be kind.

Even though Earth Month has ended, it's never too late to jump on the Recyclebank bandwagon. Start earning points now by signing up, then get more ideas for taking action on the environment on Act.
