The BucksMont Division of Allied Waste Services has launched the RecycleBank program in 10,000 households in Bucks and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania. Allied is part of Republic Services.

The RecycleBank single-stream recycling program encourages households to recycle by rewarding them with points based on the amount they recycle. The points are redeemable at local and national retailers, restaurants and grocery stores.

Earlier this month, Republic Services signed an agreement with RecycleBank to launch the recycling program in 1 million U.S. households.
