Phoenix residents continue to recycle the way they do today, with the same blue containers and same collection day. Collection trucks, using new technology will identify each property that participates.
Points are allocated based on an equal share of the total amount that your community recycled. RecycleBank Points are then deposited into participating member's RecycleBank accounts. The more your community recycles, the more Points you all earn.
What do I have to do to get started?
All you have to do is activate your account to start earning and redeeming your rewards. Click on the "Get Started Now" button on the top of this page, or call 888-727-2978 to setup your account.
Go to the "Get Rewards" section and shop for rewards.
After you check out, the rewards will be mailed to your home within 7 business days. Online rewards will instantly be emailed to you.
When do I start?
The City of Phoenix selected 110,000 households in southwest Phoenix for the first phase of the RecycleBank rewards program, set to begin on November 30, 2009. These initial households will receive information in the mail between November 2009 and March 2010 about setting up their RecycleBank account. The second pilot area, Area G pictured in blue, is expected to launch in early 2010.
