Q: How can I earn RecycleBank Points?
Members of the RecycleBank program can earn Points in a variety of different ways - through home recycling, recycling their electronics, and by participating in some of our partner programs. See all of the current ways to earn Points, by visiting the Earn Points section. In the home recycling program, your RecycleBank cart will be weighed each week upon pick-up. The weight will then be translated to RecycleBank Points. The more you recycle, the more your household can earn. In a few select communities, households earn rewards based on their equal share of the total amount that their entire community recycles.Q: How do I get my rewards?
Activate your online account with an e-mail and password to order your rewards via the web at www.RecycleBank.com, or call 1.888.727.2978. Online rewards will be made available either instantaneously, via the website, or will be sent via e-mail for your immediate use.Many reward partners require that their rewards be sent to you through USPS standard mail.
Q: When should I expect to receive my mailed rewards?

Yes. The RecycleBank Rewards program will change as we determine new and exciting reward options for you to take advantage of. Partners can also decide to discontinue their rewards or have limited time offers.
Q: Will my RecycleBank Points expire?
Your RecycleBank Points will accrue month-to-month and year-to-year for as long as you remain in the RecycleBank program. RecycleBank Points expire only if there is no points-earning or points redemption activity in a member’s account for over twelve (12) months.Q: Do RecycleBank rewards expire?
Some rewards have expiration dates. Some rewards are offered on a limited time basis. This information can be found online (from your account page) or by calling Customer Care.Q: What if I did not receive my Points credit?
You can report any missed credit by contacting us from within your online account page, or you can call us at 1-888-727-2978.Please note that you may have received no or partial credit if you reached the monthly limit of Points. This is viewable in the Pickups tab in your account.

Q: What are the standard terms of the rewards in the program?
Each reward has its own specific terms, conditions and expiration dates. In general, RecycleBank rewards cannot be combined with other offers. They cannot be multiplied or exchanged for cash and are not valid towards previous purchase. All rewards are void if copied or transferred. As of April 16, 2010, Kashless is no longer offering their rewards program. This means that you can no longer earn RecycleBank Points for your green actions and activity on Kashless.org. Yes, if you earned points prior to April 16th, you will see them in your RecycleBank Account within 24 hours of earning. Does that mean I can still earn RecycleBank Points?
No, after April 16, 2010, you will not be able to earn points through Kashless.org. Kashless is in the process of removing all references to rewards and points from Kashless.org. Q: What is e-waste?
Electronic waste, or ‘e-waste’, is the name for electronic products, such as laptop computers and cell phones that are disposed of each year and enter the global waste stream.Q: How can I earn Points for recycling my electronics?
RecycleBank offers you an opportunity to recycle your electronics properly and earn Points at the same time. Through this program, our partner, Flipswap, will keep your devices out of the landfill and RecycleBank will reward you for your effort with RecycleBank Points.It’s easy to participate:

- Use the search bar or categories to find your device type.
- Answer all the device questions to receive a Points quote.
- Add all of the items you want to recycle into your shipment and print your packing slip and mailing label.

Visit our electronics recycling section now to input your specific device details to get a sense of how many Points you can earn.Q: I just mailed my used electronics to Flipswap, when will I receive my Points?
Points will be credited to your account when once Flipswap confirms that they have received and reviewed your devices. This can take up to 6 weeks. You can also check the status of your electronics shipment anytime.Q: How long will it take for Flipswap to confirm that they received my device(s)?
We will send you an email when your device has been received for inspection. If you mailed your device more than two weeks ago and have not received an email confirming receipt, please verify the status of your shipment in your profile or on the electronics page.

Points received may vary from the original Points Quote if Flipswap determines that the condition and/or device type did not match what was originally described.
