The RecycleBank Green Schools Program

Donated RecycleBank Points are matched with dollar donations by RecycleBank to environmental initiatives at schools nationwide. RecycleBank will donate $10 for every 100 Points donated to your school!

We are once again accepting grant applications from schools in RecycleBank - serviced areas for the development of programs that empower youth ages 6–18 through a focus on environmental awareness, education, and action.

How to Participate:

1. Download the grant application and guidelines here.
2. Complete and return the application to us via e-mail.
3. As specified in the guidelines, RecycleBank will notify the programs selected and post them on this page.
4. Once selected, RecycleBank will post downloadable / printable collateral that you can use to start grassroots promotions in your community, letting them know about the Points Donation program for your school. Rally your community together and get them to support your school's environmental program with the donation of their Points.
5. All the Points that are donated to your school's program get converted to dollars by RecycleBank, and grant checks are mailed by the end of March, 2010.
6. Remember, this program requires schools, students and their communities to work together for the sake of the proposed school programs.
