The RecycleBank Green Schools Program

Donated RecycleBank Points are matched with dollar donations by RecycleBank to environmental initiatives at schools nationwide. RecycleBank will donate $10 for every 100 Points donated to your school!

We are once again accepting grant applications from schools in RecycleBank - serviced areas for the development of programs that empower youth ages 6–18 through a focus on environmental awareness, education, and action.

How to Participate:

1. Download the grant application and guidelines here.
2. Complete and return the application to us via email.
3. As specified in the guidelines, RecycleBank will notify the programs selected and post them on this page.
4. Also at that time, RecycleBank will post downloadable / printable collateral that you can use to start grassroots promotion to your community letting them know about the Points Donation program for your school.
5. Then, do whatever you can to rally your community together and get them to support your school’s environmental program with the donation of their Points.
6. RecycleBank will convert the Points donated into dollars and grant checks will be mailed by the end of April 2009. (RecycleBank will donate $10 for every 100 Points you donate to support their environmental causes.)
7. Remember, this program requires schools, students and their communities to work together for the sake of the proposed school programs.
